Secure Payments Powered by Stripe
All transactions on Courtmate are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant industry leader trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your facility connects its own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, meaning payouts go directly to you — fast, reliable, and with full transaction visibility.
Standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) are deducted from your facility's payout by Stripe, separately from CourtMate's fee. This is consistent with how every Connect-based marketplace handles payment processing.

Are there any setup fees?
None. There are no onboarding fees, contract fees, or hidden charges. You can create your facility and start accepting bookings today.
How does the split-fee model work?
Your facility pays 1.05% + $0.10 on every booking. Players see a flat $0.50 platform fee at checkout that goes to CourtMate, not your facility. Together, these cover our platform costs while keeping your per-booking cost lower than other platforms.
Example: $50 court reservation
Player is charged $50.50 ($50 court + $0.50 platform fee). Stripe deducts its 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee directly from the payment. CourtMate takes $1.13 as its application fee ($0.63 facility cut + $0.50 player fee). Your facility nets $47.61 ($50 − Stripe fees − CourtMate's $0.63 facility cut).
Why charge the player a small fee?
It's industry-standard for booking platforms (Eventbrite, Resy, Ticketmaster all do it) and lets us keep the facility's per-booking cost predictable as you grow. A $0.50 line item at checkout is small enough that it doesn't impact conversion — and it means your $50 court still feels like a $50 court to your customers.
How do payouts work?
Payments are routed through Stripe Connect directly to your facility's bank account on a rolling schedule managed by Stripe. You have full visibility into every transaction.
Subscriptions and memberships?
Recurring membership charges only apply the 1.05% + $0.10 facility cut — there's no flat fee added to monthly invoices. Your members see the price you set.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts or lock-in periods. Since there are no subscription fees, you can pause or leave whenever you like.
